This image was done in Photoshop. While working on it I realized I could use the polygonal lasso tool to extend shapes to a vanishing point: establish a horizon line with VP's, draw the lines of convergence to those, then fill the sections with the bucket tool. I've done this approach to make more vector like shapes but the edges aren't as sharp. In this picture it doesn't matter, though, because I was doing trying for something more drawn than vectorized.
